UPDATED: Shooting in Huntington leaves one dead, two injured

According to a news release sent to 13 News, a second victim has died in a shooting incident that occurred in Huntington on Nov. 6.

Devonte Penn, 17, of Detriot, Mich. died of a single gunshot wound on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Police are still investigating the shooting.





Huntington Police have confirmed to 13 News that one person has died in this morning's shooting.

The Huntington Police Dept. responded to a shooting at 1939 Foster Avenue around 10:30 a.m. and found multiple shooting victims.

Officers treated one victim at the scene.  The victim was then transported to St. Mary's Hospital.  Officers were then notified of a second victim who was at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  A third victim was declared dead at the scene.

The victims have been identified as Thomas White, 21 of Huntington and Devante Penn, 17, of Detroit, Mich.

The identity of the deceased victim will be released following notification of the family members.

Detectives have been conducting a neighborhood canvas to find potential witnesses.

No motive has been established for the shooting.

A shooting happened around 10:45 a.m. on Foster Avenue in Huntington, police have shut down a few blocks around the incident while they investigate.

One person was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
