Workers voting on new coffee brand to be sold at Capitol Food Court
State employees in West Virginia are getting the opportunity to choose a new coffee to be sold at the Capitol Food Court.
Four coffees were put to a taste test on Wednesday and four more will be tested on Thursday.
The brands include Starbucks, Seattle's Best, Folgers, Maxwell House and Millstone.
The reason for the switch is that Dunkin' Donuts, the brand now served at the food court, is discontinuing its food service program. "It's a lot of fun and I think people appreciate getting to make a choice. Instead of us bringing in a brand they might not be particularly happy with. This way we know, they are going to vote on and they are going to like the brand that we bring in," said Candice Ward, West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation.
The winner will be selected from the top picks on Friday, Nov. 9.
