One man has been arrested after detectives from the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force found a clandestine "one pot" meth lab inside his house.
Task Force detectives had been tipped-off that meth was being made at the house of Dustin Craver, 32, of Portsmouth, OH.
Upon a search of his Denver Street residence, detectives found meth-making materials, and an active "one pot" meth cook.
Carver admitted to making meth and was arrested. He is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine within 100 feet of a juvenile, a felony of the 1st degree, and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamine, a felony of the 3rd
Carver was arraigned in Portsmouth Municipal Court and is being held at the Scioto County Jail on a $175,000 bond.
The case against Carver will be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor's Office to be presented to a Grand Jury for the consideration of additional felony criminal charges.
