People across the country are recognizing Veterans Day.
We wanted to take a look at what this day means through the eyes of those who have served.
Veterans from different generations and branches of the military shared their perspective.
Many of them spent the day with their family.
Some even wore items that reminded them of their service.
All had a common opinion about what Veterans Day is really all about.
"What bigger sacrifice can you give other than put your life on the line," said Will Tiller, who served in the National Guard for over a decade.
West Virginia has a long legacy of military service. It was something many of the Veterans we spoke with were proud of.
