Halloween might be over, but that didn't stop Hite-Saunders elementary students from smashing pumpkins.
The annual Pumpkin Drop was delayed by the recent bad weather, but today science students had perfect weather to see who had the best way to keep their pumpkins from busting.
Some used parachutes and others wrapped them in layers of bubble-wrap and duct tape.
Teachers say students turn in an essay at the end of the year and most students say the pumpkin drop was the most fun.
