Best Buy reveals hottest tech deals and steals for Black Friday

Posted: Updated:

Best Buy has sliced and diced its prices in anticipation of Black Friday.

Everything from cell phones, flat screen TVs, digital cameras, DVDs, and laptops are marked down up to 50 percent off of the original price. Some items are marked down even more than 50 percent.

Best Buy General Manage Kent Massie took 13 News around the Charleston store to show us some of the best deals out there.

Let's talk cell phones first.

He said the Samsung Galaxy S III is sure to be a best-seller on Black Friday.

"This one is going to be $150 off. It's going to sell for $50 on Black Friday," he said.

Tablets are also flying off the shelves this year. They're the perfect balance between hand-held computers that come in an E-reader size.

"The Galaxy tab 2 7.0, which is going to be selling for $179, so this will be a ticketed item. This is going to be something we will have limited quantities on. So, people that are waiting in line, we will give tickets out to guarantee they will get them."

Best Buy is one of many stores that'll pass out tickets to customers standing in line.

That ticket will reflect the item you want, so when you walk through the door, you don't have to worry about a mad dash to find the present you're looking for.

"You have to be in line to get a ticket. We're very organized about trying to keep people from cutting in line and things like that," he said.

Employees will start passing tickets out at 10 p.m. Thursday night.

Massie said there's one Black Friday deal he's sure will go quick.

Best Buy is selling a Toshiba 40 inch LCD TV marked down more than 50 percent.

"That TV is normally $419 and it will be $179 on Black Friday," he said.

Even Apple products are on sale.

"You can actually get a 16G iPad 2 for $340"

The iPhone 4 is also free and iPhone 4S is just $99.

While you don't want the bright, shiny lights to con you into buying things you don't need, Massie said their Black Fridays deals really are the best time to buy.

"We run our best sale of the year the week of Black Friday, and it gets better on Black Friday," he said.

If you decided to skip out on Black Friday shopping, Best Buy will also offer similar deals on Cyber Monday.
