Scioto Country Sheriff's deputies, along with members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, Portsmouth police, and agents of the FBI, arrested Misty Hurt, 32, of Portsmouth, Ohio, following a jury indictment.
Deputies say the indictment came after Hurt's November 7th arrest, where detectives discovered an active meth lab and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine in her house. Dustin Craver, 32, of the same address, was also arrested and charged with illegal manufacture of drugs, a felony of the 1st degree.
Hurt is charged with illegal manufacture of drugs, a felony of the 1st degree, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a felony of the 3rd degree, and endangering children, a felony of the 3rd degree.
Both are being held at the Scioto County Jail without bond.
