Ohio gas prices are lower to start the new work week.
The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was $3.19 from the Oil Price Information Service.
That's a drop of 13 cents lower than a week ago. This comes after two straight weeks of rising prices at the pump.
Ohio's prices are well below the national average of $3.30 which is about the same as last week.
The lowest price in Ohio was $3.10 in the Toledo area.
Experts say the economic worries related to the fiscal cliff deal could keep gasoline demand down and lead to lower fuel consumption and prices in January.
