A Fayette County man was sentenced to two years in federal prison for selling oxycodone, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Michael Terry Coleman, 48, previously pleaded guilty to distribution of oxycodone in October.
Coleman admitted he sold three 30-milligram oxycodone pills to an individual cooperating with law enforcement authorities in April 2012.
This happened at his house in Fayette County.
He also admitted to selling additional oxycodone pills a few weeks later.
The West Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation handled the investigation.
