Charleston Police have confirmed that a man and woman were wounded during a fight at a house on Jackson Street Thursday night in the city's East End.
The girlfriend stabbed her boyfriend at least four times according to officers at the scene. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries were unknown.
In return, police said that the boyfriend stabbed the woman at least once. She was also taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Her injuries were not life threatening according to police.
No arrests were made at the scene according to police, but the investigation is ongoing.
Charleston Police are investigating a stabbing on Jackson Street.
The call came in to Metro 911 just before 9 p.m.
