A Fayette County man was sentenced to five years in federal prison for selling oxycodone, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Kenneth James Taylor, 32, previously pleaded guilty in November 2012.
Taylor admitted that he sold oxycodone pills to a confidential informant in March 2012.
He also admitted to having additional involvement in drug trafficking, authorities said.
The crimes took place at his house in Fayette County, according to court documents.
The West Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations handled the investigation.
