Huntington Police charge a man in connection with allegedly robbing the CVS Pharmacy on 20th Street.
Jeremy Johnson, 30, of Huntington was arrested Thursday evening without incident at a house in the 2800 Block of North Staunton Street.
Police say they had information about a suspect and watched the area most of the afternoon until Johnson was spotted at the home just before 7 p.m.
Officers say they arrested him after he came out of the home and surrendered.
Johnson was charged with First degree robbery in Cabell County Magistrate court.
He says he didn't know he was a suspect in the case until his brother said he saw him on the news.
Johnson claims he can prove he was with a friend at a doctor appointment in Nitro at the time of the robbery.
He was taken to Western Regional jail with a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Johnson is set to appear in court February 22.
Police say they hope to identify a second suspect.
Lt. John Williams with the Huntington Police Department confirmed Thursday that a suspect was arrested in connection with the robbery of the CVS pharmacy at 20th Street and 8th Avenue on Wednesday night.

The police department received a tip earlier on Thursday that Johnson had been seen in the area. Officers went to the location and arrested Johnson just before 7 p.m.
Investigators anticipate ID of the second suspect and another arrest.
According to police on the scene, two men in hoodies walked into the pharmacy and handed a note to the cashier demanding cash.
The men were given an unknown amount of money and they then left the pharmacy heading north toward the train tracks.
Employees did not see a weapon at the time of the robbery.
Police are looking for surveillance footage of the two men from the surrounding area to see if they can get a video of the men without their hoods on.
According to dispatchers, a robbery was reported at the CVS pharmacy on 20th Street and 8th Avenue in Huntington.
Initial reports say that a man entered the pharmacy and gave a cashier a note saying that he had a gun. The report came in around 11:32 a.m.
It is unknown if anything was taken.
