Firefighters and the State Fire Marshal are on the scene of a fatal mobile home fire at 115 Mud Fork Road in Calhoun County.
The fire broke out just after 5 a.m., according to firefighters.
There were six people home at the time of the fire.
The mobile home is located in the small community of Stinson.
Police have released that three children and one adult died in the fire. Investigators said the boy was 7-years-old. The girls were 5-years-old and 6-years-old.
The children's grandmother also died in the fire, according to investigators. She was 57-years-old.
Two men were transported to the hospital, including the children's father.
One of the victim's suffered burns to up to 50 percent of his body, authorities said.
Verla Longfellow is a family friend and works at Stinson Grocery. She said the children used to come to her store with their grandmother and father.
"They was real sweet. They was well-minded, very, very smart for their age. They was very smart," she said.
