Skyler Miller is a freshman at Logan High School. He has an ATV accident over the weekend. The injuries were not serious. But while he was at the hospital doctors made a discovery that no one saw coming. He has leukemia.
Since the news started to spread, Skyler's friends at Logan High School have started showing their support. They are signing posters for him and wearing orange, the awareness color for leukemia.
They have also started raising money to help with Skyler's medical care. They are selling t-shirts with Skyler's name on them. So far they have been able to sell 500 shirts. They are hoping to sell even more.
"Everybody wants to do anything they can to help him so we just figured making shirts would be an easy way and everybody wants to support him," said Abby Kirk, one of Skyler's friends.
Skyler's mom said he has started chemotherapy. His doctors say he will likely be in the hospital for several weeks.
