Suspect arrested in Huntington home invasion

Huntington Police have arrested a suspect wanted in a home invasion. 

Timothy McComas, 48, was taken into custody Friday morning. Detectives say he was wanted in regards to an armed home invasion where he held a woman at knifepoint and made her husband give him all their cash and medicines. 

McComas, who used to be married to the victim's daughter, made off with $120 and two bottles of medication, according to the criminal complaint. McComas is scheduled to be in court April 8. 

McComas was taken to the Western Regional Jail. He is charged with first degree robbery.

Detectives with the Huntington Police Department are looking for a homeless man who broke into a home and held a knife to a woman's neck. 

Detectives are looking for Timothy Allen McComas after they said he went into a home, held a knife to a woman's neck who lived there, then demanded their money as well as their medications. 

After the husband of the woman gave McComas cash and their prescription medicines, McComas left. 

The incident happened March 23. McComas is wanted for first degree robbery. 

He is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. Detectives believe he is homeless.
