The search intensified Friday for the suspect in a kidnapping and rape case.
Bradley Price, 34, of Elkview, is accused of forcing a 13-year-old girl into his car near a West Side bus stop on Wednesday evening.
According to a criminal complaint, the girl left a friend's house at about 8 p.m. Wednesday. As she was walking home, she approached the bus stop near Central Street and Russell Street on Charleston's West Side. That's when she said Price pulled up beside her in a car and rolled down his window. She said she kept walking, but Price jumped out of his car and grabbed her arm, telling her "If you don't get in the car I will hurt you." The girl got into the car at that point, according to the criminal complaint.
Price drove around for more than five hours with the girl as he continued to make deliveries for the local pizza restaurant. Price told her she would have to ride with him until his shift was over at 1 a.m. According to the criminal complaint, Price told her several times, "It's okay, I'm only 21." Charleston police confirm that Bradley Price is not 21 years old.
At the end of his work shift, Price told the 13 year old that they were going to Granny's for a minute. Instead, Price drove north on I-79 to Elkview, where he went to his own house. He entered the home for about five minutes to take medication to his own children, according to the criminal complaint. The girl was left in the car during this time.
Price then took the girl to the Knights Inn in Kanawha City, where he allegedly raped her.
The girl told police that she was able to get to the motel's front desk on Thursday morning where she called her father for help.
Price fled the scene shortly after the girl's father arrived. Police were called to the motel and started an investigation.
A police report wasn't filed on Wednesday night when the girl didn't arrive home because her parents believed she was at her friend's house. A report was immediately filed following the call to the motel.
Price hasn't been seen since Thursday morning. Police have said that when he's located, Price will be charged with abduction and two counts of first-degree sexual assault.
