A trial date has been set in the case against a Charleston man accused of raping his ex-girlfriend
Erique Harris, 20, will go to trial on May 20.
Harris was originally scheduled to go to trial on Monday. However, the state requested a motion to continue.
Charleston Police arrested Harris after they say he raped his ex-girlfriend and stabbed her last November.
It happened near Wetze Avenue and Kanawha Boulevard near the train tracks.
Harris is facing sexual assault and malicious wounding charges.
He is being held at the South Central Regional Jail with bail set at $105,000.
