Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini says detectives have been investigating a felonious assault that happened on Boren Blvd. in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Donini says his office received a 911 call on April 16 stating that a man was hit by a vehicle and needed an ambulance.
When deputies arrived they say the suspects had hit the victim intentionally and fled the scene.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Southern Ohio Medical Center where he was treated and released for his injuries.
Detectives got suspect information and viewed video surveillance of the incident.
Sheriff Donini says his office received a report of a breaking and entering on Poplar Fork Road in Franklin Furnace, Ohio on April 24.
The Green Township Community Policing Deputy responded to the location and took a report resulting in a photo of the suspects and suspect vehicle.
The information was sent to detectives who were able to identify the suspects and the vehicle involved in the assault.
The description resulted in the location of the vehicle which was stopped at the intersection of Center St. and Rolfe Road in Wheelersburg.
Deputies say the suspects were taken in for questioning resulting in both suspects being charged.
Jonathon Harr, 21, of Center St. Wheelersburg and Kristian Noe, 23, of Boren Blvd. Wheelersburg are both charged with one count second degree felonious assault and one count of fifth degree breaking and entering.
Both are being held on a $22,500 bond and will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court on April 25.
Sheriff Donini says more charges could be presented to the Grand Jury on a later date.
