Wanted sex offender back in custody in Gallia County, OH

A sex offender wanted out of Gallia County for failing to register is now in custody.
Officers with the Wellston Police Department tell 13 News Jason Lendway was caught during a traffic stop on East 10th Street at 8:28 a.m. on May 5. Officers say he was arrested without incident and was turned over to deputies with the Gallia County Sheriff's Office within an hour.
Lendway was convicted of unlawful sex with a minor and Gallia County Sheriff Joe Browning said Lendway failed to register as a sex offender. Officers have been looking for Lendway since May 2.

Jason A. Lendway, 36, of Kanuaga is wanted by the sheriff and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for moving without notification.
Lendway was convicted of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, approximately 170 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
