West Virginia State University to host commencement ceremonies on May 11
West Virginia State University will host two commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 11, on the Main Lawn of the school's Institute campus.
The first ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. and will be for students graduating from the College of Professional Studies, the largest of the four colleges at WVSU. Also, during the 10 a.m. ceremony, a U.S. Army Commissioning Service will take place for WVSU ROTC graduates.
The second ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. and will be for students graduating from the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Business and Social Sciences and the College of Natural Science and Mathematics.
Kanawha County Delegate Douglas Skaff Jr. will deliver the commencement address at both ceremonies.
In the event of inclement weather, commencement ceremonies will take place the P. Ahmed Williams Auditorium, located on the second floor of Ferrell Hall.
