UPDATE: Boy shot in the leg on Charleston's West Side
A 13-year-old boy was shot in the leg inside a home on Charleston's west side Monday night.
It's unknown if he shot himself or if another juvenile may have fired the gun, according to police.
Police said two juveniles were detained at the scene, but no arrests were made at that time.
The Charleston Police Department is investigating the incident as an accidental shooting.
Officers did find several stolen guns inside the home, according to Lt. Mark Abbott of the Charleston Police Department. Officers told 13 News they believe the discovery of these stolen firearms may help solve a number of recent burglaries in the area.

It happened a little before 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Main Street.
Charleston police were called to the scene. Officers are investigating.
