The West Virginia Division of Highways is looking for public input about a proposed road project at Chief Logan State Park.
The DOH will hold an informational workshop and public hearing on Thursday, July 11, in the Chief Logan Conference Center in Logan.
The project consists of building a two-lane road that would connect the main activity areas of Chief Logan State Park and the Chief Logan Lodge and Conference Center.
During the July 11 meeting, the DOH will provide updates c on the progress of the Chief Logan Park Road Project.
The informational workshop is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Representatives from the West Virginia Division of Highways will be available to answer questions about the proposed projects. The public hearing will begin at 6 p.m. Anyone who wishes to provide testimony during the public hearing may sign the speakers list at the registration desk from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. A time limit will be imposed.
