A possible ATV accident is now being investigated as a motorcycle hit-and-run.
Charles L. McKenzie, 32, of South Shore, was found Tuesday lying injured and unresponsive on the 5000 block of Brushy Creek Road in Greenup County, according to a recent news release.
Deputies responded to the 911 call Tuesday night saying McKenzie may have been involved in an ATV accident but deputies now believe he was hit by a motorcycle. McKenzie was taken to the emergency room at Our Lady of Bellefonte. No word on his condition at this time.
Although deputies continue the investigation, they do have a person of interest. Anyone with information can call 911 or the sheriff's department anonymously.
