Buckwild cast member arrested for DUI, other charges

Buckwild cast member, Joseph "Joey" Patrick Mulcahy, was arrested in Kanawha County Tuesday evening and charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and failure to report an accident, according to court documents.

It happened Tuesday evening.  He was arranged just before 11 p.m.

According to court documents, West Virginia State Police Troopers were dispatched to the 5300 block of Sissonville Drive to investigate a roll-over style accident.

Sissonville firefighters told the arriving Trooper that the driver of the vehicle was taken home by Joe Mulcahy, the defendant's father.

Authorities advised Mulcahy Sr. to go get his son.  He did, according to documents.  That's when the defendant told authorities that he panicked after the crash, and asked his father to take him home because his father was already on the scene.

Troopers noticed a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, and was asked to complete field sobriety tests.  Mulcahy refused, but did submit to a breathalyzer test.

Documents state that he blew a .205%.

Mulcahy told deputies he was "scared", and that's why he left the scene.

Upon arrival to the South Charleston Detachment for processing, he blew a secondary breath test.  The result of that test was .187%.

Mulcahy was released on a $1000 property bond.
