Three suspected drug dealers in custody after bust at Town Center mall
CHARLESTON, WV -
Three suspected drug dealers are behind bars after a bust Thursday evening at a busy shopping center.
Charleston police said Adam Breslin and Martez Griffin attempted to sell drugs to undercover officers at the Town Center Mall in Charleston, WV.
Police said Breslin and Griffin acted as a team and tried to sell them marijuana.
Undercover officers then saw Robbins walking towards the KRT Transit Mall and attempted to stop him because they knew he had an active obstruction warrant. When they told him to stop walking, police said he tried to run, however, he was taken into custody shortly thereafter.
Court documents said police found 12, 100mg and 9, 30 mg morphine pills in plastic baggies in his pockets. In court, Robbins told us the pills belong to his mother, who has cancer. Court documents said two pill bottles were also located in Robbins' pockets with the name "Mrs. Arnita Robins" clearly labeled on them.
Robbins was also arrested earlier in the year after police say he attempted to rob teenagers inside of the Town Center mall.
Breslin and Griffin are charged with felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Robbins is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and obstruction. All three are being held at the South Central Regional Jail on cash-only bonds.
