Two arrested for operating a meth lab in South Charleston, WV

West Virginia State Police were called to a home along Ballard Road in South Charleston, WV around 8:30 p.m. Saturday after receiving a call about a possible methamphetamine lab.

After troopers arrived, they informed the residents on why they were there and were given hand written consent to search the residence and outbuilding that was located behind the residence.

After search the outbuilding trooper discovered numerous item in conjunction with the manufacturing of methamphetamines including a gas generator, propane tanks and stained coffee filters.

Troopers arrested and charged Roger D. Stone, and Joyce A. Stone for operating or attempting to operate clandestine drug lab, possession of substance to be used to manufacture of meth, and conspiracy. 

Both suspects are currently in the Western Regional Jail.
