Chesapeake High School gets new football stadium

Chesapeake High school football players got to hold practice in their new stadium this week.

The Panthers were forced to play all their games at other fields last year while crews worked on their new field.

Coach Andy Clark says players like the new stadium that was built from the ground up and features plenty of new seating for fans and a new press box.

Clark says the  new artificial turf makes it easier to practice because it doesn't get muddy when it rains.

The Panthers host Oak Hill in their first home game this Friday.
