Nigerian king visits WV; tours Clark International facility
The King of Nigeria made a visit to Charleston, West Virginia, on Wednesday. His Royal Majesty Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle came to see the results of recent mission trips.
Olugbenle toured the Clark International facility in Black Betsy, where two, 40 foot containers are packed with donated items, medical supplies, stretchers and a 15 passenger cargo van. All of the items were donated by local churches, businesses and schools for his country.
"We will surely open our hands of fellowship to as many people that want to partner with us. People here in West Virginia have been looking at opportunities back home and quite a lot of people are already partnering with them and want opportunity for that," said Olugbenle.
Later in the afternoon, he also met with leaders West Virginia State University. Olugbenle was scheduled to leave West Virginia on Thursday.
