    The West Virginia Autism Training Center is expanding its reach in the state. WV ATC, located at Marshall University in Huntington, has partnered with Concord University to develop on-campus support in Athens for students who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

    The West Virginia Child Advocacy Network and West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence are getting help from Verizon's HopeLine program to help those affected by domestic violence and child abuse.

    The West Virginia Child Advocacy Network and West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence are getting help from Verizon's HopeLine program to help those affected by domestic violence and child abuse.

The West Virginia Business & Industry Council recently elected officers for its board of directors.

New officers are Chris Hamilton, vice-president of the West Virginia Coal Association, chair; Joe Letnaunchyn, CEO, of the West Virginia Hospital Association, first vice chairman; Mike Clowser, executive director of the Contractors Association of West Virginia, second, vice chairman; and Sam Minardi, President, Minardi Public Affairs, secretary-treasurer.

The West Virginia Business & Industry Council is composed of more than 50 West Virginia trade associations and businesses. It represents more than 250,000 employees, across 26 industry categories. Its goal is to enhance the business climate in West Virginia.
