Three people dead in two vehicle accident in Pike County, KY
CHARLESTON, WV -
Police are investigating a two vehicle accident that killed three people in Pike County, KY.
According to a release by the Kentucky State Police, this happened on U.S. 119 in the area of Huddy, in Pike County, at 9:44 a.m. Thursday.
Police say Teshia Henry, 25, of Prestonsburg, KY, was driving northbound on U.S. 119 when she lost control of her vehicle, a 2005 Kia Optima, driving across into the southbound lanes of U.S. 119, and hitting another vehicle, a 2002 Toyota Tundra, driven by Steven Douglas Viars II, of WV.
According to police, Teshia Henry and a passenger inside her vehicle, Howard Ravin, 43, of Salyersville, KY, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say another passenger in Henry's vehicle, Bambi Davis, 48, also of Salyersville, KY, was transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead.
Viars' injuries are not yet known.
The accident remains under investigation.
