Man from Lewis County, KY charged with making terroristic threats

VANCEBURG, KY -
A Vanceburg, KY man was charged with making terroristic threats to an employee of a state agency.
Charles W. Thoroughman, 26, is charged with terroristic threatening, according to a recent news release from the Kentucky State Police in Morehead. Troopers say they are investigating Thoroughman for threatening a member of the Department for Community Based Services in Lewis County Wednesday.
The state agency provides programs based on financial need, according to the Commonwealth of Kentucky's website. Troopers along with deputies from the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and officers with the Vanceburg Police Department all assisted in the arrest.
Thoroughman was taken to the Lewis County Detention Center.
