BARBOURSVILLE, WV -
A man who was recently a victim in a shooting is facing fleeing and drug possession charges in Barboursville, WV.
Officers with the Barboursville Police Department say they were called to Southern Exposure, a gentleman's club, at 1:40 a.m. Friday after a report of shots being fired. When officers arrived, they were told three men took off in the direction of US Route 60. All three were found a short time later on the railroad tracks near Trails End Road.
Maurice Lavelle Miller, 23, of Columbus, Tyrel L. Davis, 25, of Columbus, and Charles Anthony Calaway, 21, of Huntington were all charged with fleeing and possession of a controlled substance.
Officers say Davis had three felony warrants on him for possession with intent, wanton endangerment and failure to appear.
No charges have been made in connection with the reports of the shots fired. Officers say witnesses told them at least two cars were hit with bullets but no one stayed on scene to make a complaint and no injuries were reported.
Troopers with the West Virginia State Police, deputies with the Cabell County Sheriff's Department and officers with the Huntington Police K-9 Unit all aided in the arrests.
