Employee with Jackson County, OH Court Clerk's Office one of four arrested during drug bust

JACKSON, OH -
Officers say an employee of the Jackson County, OH court clerk's office was one of four people arrested after an early morning drug bust.
Cassie M. Essman, 29, of Jackson, is charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, permitting drug abuse and child endangering. Agents with the Jackson County Major Crimes Task Force, officers with the Jackson Police Department and deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff executed a search warrant at 65 Hunt Street Wednesday morning.
The sheriff says Essman has been suspended from her duties as an employee with the Jackson County Municipal Court.
Officers say three other are also facing charges Jason D. Tipton, 33, of Jackson, is charged with trafficking, permitting drug abuse and child endangering. Benjamin L. Glenn, 28, of Columbus, is charged with trafficking drugs and child endangering. Lamar F. Collins, 26, of Columbus, is charged with trafficking drugs, possession of drugs, child endangering and conveyance into correctional facility.
The four were taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
