AT&T Stores in Southern West Virginia are gearing up for Veteran's Day. They're asking people to bring in their old cell phones and donate them to soldiers fighting overseas.
All you have do is bring in any phone no matter how old to any AT&T store. Cell Phones for Soldiers is a program that allows our soldiers overseas to call home more easily.
"It's not that they don't have a way to call home but what we need to think about is if this was your family or friend that wanted to call home for the holidays that everyone has the opportunity to do that," said Assistant Store Manager Travis Francisco.
AT&T also recently announced it will be hiring 5,000 veterans and their family members over the next five years.
