Two people are in jail on meth charges in St. Albans, WV.
According to a news release issued by the St. Albans Police Department, Mylissa Jennings Messer, 29, and Jason M. Racer, 31, were arrested Wednesday, Nov. 20, and charged with attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab, as well as conspiracy.
The release says that while checking on a probationer, Messer, at the El Rancho Motel in St. Albans at around 12:35 p.m., two Putnam County probation officers discovered a working meth lab.
According to the release, Messer was on probation for computer fraud.
The release says the St. Albans Building Office condemned the room Messer and Racer were in as well as the room next door due to the meth lab. One person in the room next door was displaced.
