CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A legislative audit says the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles should offer more public services online.
The audit says the agency's website is easy to use, but that it could also offer a mobile version, provide links to social media and provide a feedback page.
The audit also says the website could be more transparent. The audit suggests it could provide a link to the DMV's budget, the names of agency officials and information on how to submit a Freedom of Information Act request.
In its response, the DMV said it is working to provide more services online. Among other things, the agency says it is working to take credit card payments over its website.
