Fake bills passed in another incident in Kanawha County, WV.
SAINT ALBANS, WV -
Deputies with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of counterfeit money in Saint Albans, WV.
According to a release from the KCSO, a deputy with the office went to the 7-11 on Shadyside Road after receiving the call. The cashier told the deputy that two fake $20 bills had been found. The cashier told the deputy that he was busy during the day and didn't notice the bills, according to the release.
Store managers are looking at surveillance in an attempt to find a suspect.
The release states that this is not the first time deputies have encounter counterfeit bills and warn stores to be on the lookout for suspicious money.
