Scioto County, OH pair arrested in drug trafficking cases

Two men have been arrested for their roles in a drug trafficking investigation in Scioto County, Ohio. James D. Carver, 26, and 25-year-old John C. Brown, both from Franklin Furnace, Ohio, were arrested Jan. 19, according to Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini.
The pair was arrested for warrants that had been issued by the Scioto County Common Pleas Court based on drug trafficking cases presented to a Scioto County Grand Jury by the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force and the Scioto County Prosecutor's Office.
Carver and Brown were indicted on a total of 24 felony drug-related offenses including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and aggravated trafficking in Oxycodone.
The two men were placed in the Scioto County Jail and are awaiting arraignment in Scioto County Common Pleas Court.
