Long lines still continue at water distribution centers
Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department - Johnson Station
SISSONVILLE, WV -
Thirteen days since the water crisis and long lines for bottled water still form in some parts of the state. At the Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department (Johnson Station) they've been seeing heavy traffic pass through.
"We're loading about five cars at a time," said volunteer firefighter Tom Miller.
"We'll be back tomorrow, we'll be back Friday," said Gail Harrison of Sissonville.
Gail and her husband, like many others, still don't trust their water.
"We're using it, but not drinking it," she said.
There's been no surprise in the traffic the fire department has seen.
"We've been seeing this all along. We're glad people are still seeing the demand," said Miller.
Distribution will be continue Thursday and Friday from 5-8 p.m.
