Bowles Rice has elected attorneys Gregory S. Foster and Thomas M. Hancock as partners and Floyd Boone as an equity partner in the regional law firm.

Foster practices in the firm's Charleston office, with a focus on litigation. He joined Bowles Rice in 2007, after earning his law degree from the New Orleans Law School at Loyola University. He earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University in 2004.

Hancock also practices in the firm's Charleston office and represents businesses in complex legal disputes, in court and before administrative agencies. He earned his law degree from West Virginia University in 2007 and his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003.

Boone joined Bowles Rice in 2009 after eight years as an associate with Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C. He was chosen as the most outstanding graduate among the 2001 class of the West Virginia University College of Law, where he also was editor in chief of the West Virginia Law Review. He focuses his practice in business litigation and has extensive experience defending financial institutions in lawsuits brought by consumers and regulators.

Bowles Rice has more than 135 attorneys and eight regional offices. In addition to its location in Charleston, it has four other offices in the Mountain State (in Martinsburg, Morgantown, Moundsville and Parkersburg) as well as in Southpointe, Pa., Lexington, Ky., and Winchester, Va.
