South Charleston police have released the name of a man arrested in a shots fired incident that took place on Jan. 23.

Brett Reynolds was taken into custody last night.  His charges will be released later today.



According to dispatchers, the South Charleston Police Department arrested one suspect in the shots fired call.

The name of the suspect or their charges are not yet known.



Police are on the scene of a shots fired call in South Charleston, WV.

According to dispatchers, it happened at the parking lot of Rite Aid, at 333 MacCorkle Avenue Southwest, that occurred shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23.

Dispatchers say no one was shot, however, according to the South Charleston Police Department, at least four people have been detained.  It is not yet clear exactly what happened.

The South Charleston Police Department is investigating.
