Debbie Phillips has launched Government Solutions, a media relations organization focused on providing clients with advocacy, grassroots communication and strategic consulting support.
Government Solutions offers a broad umbrella of services, from lobbying government officials to working with community leaders to managing interactions with the media.
Phillips served for more than 10 years in West Virginia's House of Delegates and for 12 years on the Putnam County Board of Education. As executive director of the Putnam County Development Authority, she worked to locate and expand companies including Toyota, Diamond Electric and American Electric Power Co. In 2012 she was awarded the Mayo Lester Community Service Award by the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce for outstanding involvement in the community.
For the past 15 years, Phillips has managed lobbying efforts and grassroots communication for The Arnold Agency. Her experience includes a wide range of industries, including energy, insurance, health care, natural resources, technology, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.
Phillips lives in Putnam County.
Lesli Forbes is joining Phillips for the 2014 session of the Legislature to coordinate communication and special projects and events. Forbes previously worked with Generation West Virginia on marketing initiatives and as an account manager at The Arnold Agency.
