Lyle's game winning basket advances Huntington Prep in national tournament

JaQuan Lyle's 3-point field goal as time expired lifted Huntington Prep over La Lumiere (LaPorte, In), 65 to 63 in the first round of the 2014 Dick's Sporting Goods High School National Tournament.

"It felt real good. My teammates were right there cheering me on. Thomas (Bryant) came up and smacked in the back of the head. It felt real good until he smacked me," Lyle said

Lye finished the afternoon with 11 points.  Montaque Gill-Caesar led Huntington Prep (28-4) with 20 points.

Huntington Prep now moves onto Friday's semifinal game against the #1 seed Montverde Academy (FL). The game tip-off at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN-2
