Runners and Walkers from across the tri-state laced up their shoes Saturday, April 26 to help out a good cause.
It was all part of the 13th Annual Rally for Autism at Ritter Park.
Nearly 1,200 people came out to show support.
One runner in the 5K was Erin Chaffin. Chaffin has a lot of contact with children dealing with autism and she says Saturday's race is important in finding a cure.
"Anything that goes to helping these kids is a great cause," Chaffin said. "I work with them on a day-to-day basis and they're wonderful kids, they're the sweetest kids. I think anything we can do to help them would be great."
In connection with the 5K, there was also a 25 mile bike tour through Huntington.
