Tyquan Livermon was convicted of robbery and wanton endangerment according to court officials with Kanawha County, WV. There was no sentencing date released.
South Charleston Police said 20-year-old Tyquan Livermon, of Charleston, was arrested and charged around 3 a.m. Saturday after he allegedly fired shots in the direction of two officers Thursday night just before 10 p.m.
Police said Livermon, along with two other adults and one juvenile, were located at the Southmoor Hills apartments on Richland Drive Friday evening.
South Charleston Police said an SKS assault rifle and two pistols were recovered from the apartment. They said that apartment was located behind the building where the shots were fired from.
Hours later, the juvenile was released.
Police said the persons being questioned were not giving consistent stories, but they did have enough information to charge Livermon in connection with the crime.
Investigators said Livermon got a tattoo Friday of a large SKS rifle on his stomach, the same gun he allegedly used to shoot at officers.
When our crew on the scene asked Livermon about his tattoo, he said, "It looks good."
When asked about the shots fired Thursday night, Livermon said he did not fire a weapon, but he did "know about the gun."
Livermon is charged with armed robbery and assault/wanton endangerment with a firearm, both felonies.
He is being held at South Central Regional Jail without bail.
