GreenHunter Resources plans to build a pipeline system to transport different fluids to the Ohio River that will be barged.
The company has not disclosed where the pipeline will begin, where they will go through or end, but they said they've strategically chosen two locations in southwestern Pennsylvania and northwestern West Virginia. "Not only will this reduction of long-hauling result in less wear and tear of the existing roadways, but a significantly reduced carbon footprint will result along with increased safety for everyone," said vice president of GreenHunter, John Jack.
The new processing plant is scheduled to be completed on or before the third quarter of 2016.
