What meth and meth abuse are doing to our state is a tragedy.
So much so that many private businesses are stepping up and saying no more. A number of pharmacies, including CVS, RiteAid and a host of others are no longer selling drugs used to make meth.
Putting profits above people should never be an option and it's nice that at least some in the business community understand that concept. To bad our elected leaders, who have twice failed to act on this issue, would rather listen to the special interests than do what's right.
