The Logan County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman who has been missing for more than a month.
According to Deputy Tucker with the Logan County Sheriff's Office, the search is on for 40-year-old Angela Gail Baisden, who goes by "Ang". She was last seen June 27 walking from her mother's apartment at Crites Apartments, located on Buffalo Creek. Baisden has been caring for her ailing mother. "She was seen carrying a bag of clothes tucked underneath her arm," said Deputy Nick Tucker.
Baisden is described as white, 5'6, 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
According to Angela's family members this isn't the first time she has run away, but it is the longest she has ever been gone. "She has left me four times now, but never for this long. It's usually only 10, 12, 15 days that she'll be gone from me," said Angela's husband of 11 years, Oather Baisden.
The last time she ran away Baisden was found in North Carolina, staying with distant relatives, but called her husband and her mother after a few days. This time nobody has heard from her and family members have said that is highly unusual.
Angela's husband told us that she has struggled with drug addiction for a while now, and he feels that her addiction to pills has something to do with her disappearance. If anyone has information regarding Baisden's whereabouts, contact the Logan County Sheriff's Office at 304-792-8590, as well as Logan County 911. The non emergency number is 304-752-8817.
