 UPDATE:

State troopers out of Mercer County have captured wanted sex offender Christopher Tolliver.  He was arrested on Thursday night, Aug. 21. According to troopers, a concerned citizen called troopers to tell them that Tolliver was going to the Rite Aid on Route 20 in Princeton to get a prescription filled.  Investigators were able to arrest Tolliver at Rite Aid without incident.

Tolliver is now in the Southern Regional Jail on $8,000 bond.  In addition to charges of failing to register as a sex offender, he is now also facing a charge of failing to appear in court.

State Troopers out of Princeton, WV confirmed that they are looking for Christopher Lee Tolliver, a registered sex offender.  Tolliver was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014, but failed to show up.  A bench warrant has been issued for Tolliver's arrest.

Tolliver is charged with 30 counts of failing to register as a sex offender.  Troopers said that he used to live in Wyoming County and is registered there. However, Tolliver has apparently been living in Mercer County for more than a month.  According to investigators, Tolliver did not change his address when he came in for an annual update.

Tolliver was released on Thursday, Aug. 7 on an $8,000 bond.  Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact the West Virginia State Police detachment in Princeton at 304-425-2101.
