WHEELERSBURG, OH -
A Dayton, Ohio man is facing charges after a stabbing.
Deputies say that a man was brought into the Southern Ohio Medical Center around 7 a.m. Thursday morning with a stab wound to his abdomen. The victim has been identified at Leo Buggs, 34, of Columbus. He was then flown to Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Buggs underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition in ICU.
The stabbing happened at 207 Virginia Drive, Wheelersburg. That is where they arrested Alexander P. Dillard, 40, of Dayton. Dillard has been charged with one count of felonious assault and one count of tampering with evidence. Dillard is being held on $27,500. He will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court Friday, August 22, 2014.
The investigation is ongoing. Deputies tell us more charges could be presented to the Scioto County Grand Jury at a later.
